DONATE

The Dales is a living, breathing, working landscape, but its fragile habitats and wildlife can only survive with careful management.

DONATE TO THE DALES

If you care about conserving the Dales' natural beauty as much as we do, help us by participating in the Donate to the Dales programme.

"Donate to the Dales" is the name of our local Visitor Payback Scheme, where you can pass on a gift of thanks for the work done within this scenic landscape and community to ultimately enhance your stay in the future.

Administered by the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust, currently you can donate money to plant a tree in one of our donor woodlands; part of a scheme which is aiming at increasing the woodland cover currently at 4.54% within the National Park boundaries.  Or you can place a donation in one of the boxes currently available at National Park Centres and some businesses within the area.

In time you could find yourself opting to pay a little extra on your accommodation bill or cream tea to enable more projects to be funded within the area; or donating a few hours to help volunteer on the ground with one of the projects.

Help keep this area special and donate to the dales. Use the links to find out more about some of the projects funded by the organisation and more information on which local businesses support us.
