The Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate area produces a mouth watering selection of local produce, with many of the restaurants, pubs and tea rooms using them as ingredients in their tempting menus.

The Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate has an abundance of locally grown and produced food so you really do need to search out the shops and markets that we have in the area.
 

By shopping locally not only are you treating yourself to tasty local food you are helping support the local farmers, producers and the whole local economy. Probably one of the best known products we have is the Real Wensleydale Cheese made in Hawes but don’t forget the Swaledale Cheese Company near Richmond which produces equally delicious cheese.

 

Hellifield Highland Beef, Mackenzies Smokehouse in Blubberhouses and Kilnsey Trout Farm all supply excellent locally produced meats and fish. 

 

And to finish the day off visit Brymoor Ice cream Parlour and sample the freshly made delights.
