Reeth

A small, peaceful village where you can escape and unwind.

WHERE IS BEST FOR ME?

Reeth lies at the junction between Arkengarthdale and Swaledale, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is an ideal base for a walking holiday all year round with challenging trails over the tops and lovely riverside and country walks.

The large village green, surrounded by 18th century houses, forms the focal point of many popular local events.

The town initially served the needs of the local farming community, but also became a centre for hand-knitting and the local lead industries. Today there are a variety of craft workshops and tearooms to tempt you and a market every Friday, making Reeth an excellent stopping off point!
